Hi, my name is Kate and i've been a babysitter for over eight years. Back when I began babysitting, I became certified to babysit/nanny by the Red Cross; I am also CPR certified! I'm currently a junior at FGCU, where I'm pursuing my degree in clinical social work. I aspire to work with children one day in mental health counseling. I am the eldest of 4 children, and have had my share of watching over the little ones. Because I had 2 working parents, I learned how to care for my younger siblings, clean and maintain the house, and cook and prepare meals as needed. When I have babysat for some of my other families, I made sure to keep the experience as interactive as possible; I would never sit the children in front of the TV like some do.
