My name is Kate, hello! I have recently moved to Climax Georgia from New Jersey. Quite the change! So much to see and take in! A little bit about me, I'm a very down to earth person who enjoys life and everything it has to offer. I enjoy photography, children, art, and learning. I smile with all my teeth and I love with all my heart. I am a very happy, funny person and have a love of almost everything. There's never a dull moment.. always something to be done.. In my experience, Ive been employed by single Father with two small boys in need of help. Their ages were 4 and 5. What started out to be just some assistance for a few days, turned into a little family for me.. I spent every day with those kids, getting them up for school and tucking them into bed every night. Their father would be deployed often so it was just the three of us.. We developed a routine. Wake up for school, make the bed, brush our teeth, eat breakfast, go to school, then get home, do our homework together, play outside for a little while until dinner then shower for the night, ending with a bedtime story.. You dont get any more hands on than that.. Two years with them had come to an end as they had moved to Texas. Since, I've been with a wonderful family for three years up until this passed September. Being a Nanny takes a lot of patience and dedication. I have both of those traits.. I try to make the best out of every situation.. handle a temper tantrum the best I can, with consistency.. I believe in time outs and talking about the problem.. Theres not one ounce of mean in my body. I let the parents handle the situation whichever way they decide.. my job is to care for the child and direct them the best I can.. It's a rewarding job to be a Nanny. I wouldnt trade it for anything. Also, I am very neat, a decent cook (nothing gormet but I know my way around the kitchen) and I have lots of energy, almost more than the kids. I can be both fun and serious when need be.. I've been married and know what it is to take care of a home. Whatever you require from me, I am on board.
