I have always been interested in caring for children it all began in high school when I had to watch after my sister while my parents worked. A year later, I decided to babysit for neighbors, friends and family as a job. During high school I studied child care and got an internship at a daycare which is where i obtained my experience in a professional setting. After my internship, during my senior year I worked at a private school's after school program as an after school teacher where I watched over 20 kids. I not only needed to attend to homework but I also taught the children math, reading, and science. At the school, I was responsible for the scheduling, lesson plans, and activities for my class. Overall I have over 5 years of experience caring for children in both the private and business sector.
