There is so much that I can say to describe my past experiences, beginning with my involuntary role of being the oldest child among my parents, and having to babysit my siblings. Aside from that, I have worked as a baby sitter during my summers off from college, whereas people who worked on the military base with my mother, would reach out and allow me to watch their children. I am a person who believes in energy and that it transforms in many ways, and I see children as the purest form of energy. They are youthful, loving, creative, and joyful and they need someone to reinforce that aspect of themselves so they learn to embrace it, and spread it among others. I easily resonate with this form of energy as I enjoy expressing the youthful side of myself because it makes me happy to express my creativity, laugh, and Read more enjoy the beauty of life. In regards to certifications, I do hold certification in First Aid and Adult and Infant CPR. I also have experience working with children in an educational setting as I volunteered with AmeriCorps as a City Year member to tutor, mentor and coach students who are at a high-risk of not staying on track during school. Working with youth, to me, is like not working at all. I see it as learning and growing experience for both the kids and myself.
