I nannies for a family from may 2017- may 2018. The children truly became like my little siblings i was to watch over. I was responsible to drive them home from school, get them something to eat, make sure they complete their home work, and perform all the chores the mom had planned for the day. Over the summer I had to be creative and plan fun activities for the children everyday. I also participate in a camp called Camp I am Special where buddies are paired with a special needs child for a week to hang out and just experience some normality from the outside world. Watching over these children, and Camp leading as well, has taught me to be respectful, patient, and responsible. Interacting with disabled children can be hard at first but once you learn conflict resolution it becomes a second nature and impossible to not love Read more every walk of life.
