My name is Katherine Barbosa, I am 30 years young. I am a bilingual, Spanish speaking Nicaraguan-American living in Jacksonville, FL with my fiancé. As I grew older, more families trusted me to care for their little ones in many scenarios. I went from sitting, to nannying, to working for State & Government agencies with at-risk children & youth and in Immigration detention facilities all with children and youth from infancy to 21 years of age. I have worked for various families in multiple states as well. Growing up in FL, I cared for children in the city of Miami, Virginia Gardens, Hialeah, Kendall, Orlando, Oviedo and Jacksonville. When residing in CO between 2018 to 2020, I worked for College Nannies/Sitters/& Tutor’s. This wonderful agency introduced me to so many lovely families in which I cared for their little ones in Evergreen, Denver, Littleton, Golden and Lakewood. During this time I had the opportunity to travel with families to care for their loved ones while on work trips to various states and residing cities. I have since relocated to FL and am seeking the opportunity to work with more loving families and their children in my home state!
