I am a Master’s in Social Work student at Barry University. I realized I would be good at babysitting when I started babysitting my best friend’s children. I have been a paid babysitter for one year now. However, I have had a lot practice with children. For two years, I worked as a teacher’s assistant at a pre-school. I worked with children ages 6 months to 3 years old. I also have taken care of my nieces and nephews as well as family friends who have children around the ages of 6 and 10. I love babysitting because I love children. I have learned a lot of from them. Children seem to humble you. I have fun taking kids to the park, playing with them, and teaching them as well. I am a strong believer in education and I always like to incorporate learning into our play time.
