My name is Kristen Narvaez. Let me start off my telling you why I became a caregiver. In my past I’ve had a few different types of jobs. I started out working retail in 2015 and now in 2018 I am a county employee. There was a huge shift in the type of job that I started at and where I am now. I decided a few years ago that instead of doing things just to get by life in life that I would get back into doing what makes me happy and where I can actually make a difference. Soon after that I started volunteering at an animal shelter and got a job working with children ranging from ages 5-10 years old. I can’t begin to tell you happy of a person I became again.
