You don't need to have any worries about your children or who is taking care of them. I would love to be the "other grandmother" and give you the peace of mind you want and deserve. Their safety and well-being is my highest priority. Since I was a preteen I've taken care of children from infants to young teens. Being the eldest of 14 grandchildren, I acquired a lot of experience early on, in addition to being a proud parent of two marvelous children and three wonderful step-children. Over the years I learned much from my experience with special needs children. I've volunteered at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital (Atlanta) and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Special Olympics. Additionally, I'm a certified Grief Counselor for children ages 4 - 10 (United Methodist Church). I am patient and adaptable, yet I can be gently firm when necessary. I enjoy playing games, talking walks, reading, Read more as well as other engaging activities. I also tutor and can help with homework, as well as reinforce good study skills and habits. I am a good healthy cook and am open to light housekeeping, and dog walking, too. I have an excellent driving record and am willing to run errands.
