My name is Kara Hawayek and I am 21 years old. I think its so exciting to be a leader or someone to look up to especially to children who are still in their impressionable stages of their lives. I currently work at the YMCA in the child care department where I have been working for just about 2 years now. With this job I have worked closely with all ages and types of children. I have experience caring for children with exceptional learning abilities, as well as children with Autism and Asperger's, ADHD and ADD, and children with different behavioral issues and different upbringings. I love each of them the same way and enjoy learning and growing with each of them every day. I also babysit for my Pastor's at church occasionally.
