I have 5 years of experience working with children not only in a home environment, but in an educational environment as well. I Took on volunteering at my high school as a Teachers helper and doing community service through my high school during my freshman year. Since then, I've been working with kids as a babysitter , tutor or just as a mentor. Some of the things that i enjoy doing is playing sports. I believe that keeping children active plays an important role on child development because it teaches a chid to play as a team member as well as the importance of working with others. I also read daily, spending at least an hour a day to read because its never too late to expand your mind and to explore the vast world of literature. As a college student, I know that it is hard to keep up Read more with a good and healthy nutritious diet, therefore, I have many ideas for cheap and healthy snacks; many of which stray away from any allergies a child may have. I tend to follow the schedules given to me by the parents. Making sure that the children are bathed, fed and in bed by a certain time as well as making sure that the home is clean and meet the standards of the customer.
