Hi! My name is Lisa Coplin. I am a 53 year old mother of two adult boys. My youngest is an honor student at the University of Florida and my oldest is an assignment editor at a television news station in Charlotte, NC. From the time my youngest child was born in 1994, I made the choice to stay at home with my children, though I did and still do keep the books for my husbands construction business on a part time basis. Prior to my youngest child's birth I was a fidelity and surety bond underwriter in the insurance industry. My degree is in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Two years ago I made the decision to return to the work force part time. I trained to become a pharmacy technician. I am now a state and nationally certified pharmacy technician. I have been working in this Read more field for 18 months. I have made the decision to transition to child care as I truly miss caring for and working with children. Though I have no formal training in child care, I feel that my experience in raising two children, having spent countless hours as a school dividend in the Seminole County School system and considerable babysitting experience as a teen, all add to my qualifications. I feel that I could offer a very stimulating environment for your child through games (both mental and physical), reading, conversation and song. Their physical needs and emotional comfort would be top priority. I would like to offer my services on a part time basis. My hours are flexible on weekdays. I would not be available weekends.
