Hello, my name is Brittny Valdes. I am a thirty-year-old babysitter, teacher, artist and humanitarian. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from Florida International University, and I have 5+ years of experience babysitting, tutoring, working at elementary schools, preschools and daycares. I've always loved and enjoyed childcare and education. After receiving my degree and working as a newspaper reporter for most of my twenties in South Florida, I left the field to pursue my passions of art and education. In 2017, I began my company Ukes 4 Dreams. I sing, play, hand-paint and sell ukuleles. I use the ukulele as a means of social change and education by producing creative homeless outreach projects that are funded by my hand-painted ukulele sales.
