Doris work for our family taking care of my son, Daxton. I am a first time mom and Daxton was born prematurely at 24 weeks 5 days; so to say that I was a bit nervous to leave him with someone knew is an understatement. From the very beginning, Doris was wonderful with Daxton. She was patient (with both him and I) and always was thinking of things for his development. I would recommend Doris for your family.

Two and a half years ago, we were nervous to bring anyone into our home with our firstborn daughter’s safety and well-being at stake. It so happens that we were fortunate enough to meet Doris, who not only erased our fears, but also instilled the greatest confidence in her childcare abilities. Doris provides the unconditional love of a grandparent, the discipline of a sensible psychologist and the care of an pediatric nurse – all in a single person. In addition, her approach is far from being clinical, she is warm, charismatic, eccentric and full of positive energy and humor even when faced with difficult conditions. Our daughter has grown as a person tremendously with this guiding light in her life. She has had a shining example of how to be an ethical, strong and smart person and that is something beyond what a normal nanny could provide. As for the standard child-care practices, again, Doris has been extraordinary. She notices hints of oncoming health issues and nips them in the bud, she takes care to ensure balanced nutrition when selecting meal combinations and she focuses on both physical and mental growth through visits to the playground and library. Over the years we’ve joked and called Doris a ‘Jedi Nanny’ and ‘Grandma Number 3’, but these funny names are rooted in rock-solid truth. We have been most fortunate to have had her in our daughter’s life and in ours and recommend her whole-heartedly and without reservation to any good family seeking the very best in child care.
