My name is Eugenie Pierre and I am mother of 5 adult children 2 boys and 3 girls. The eldest is 34, the youngest is 20 years old. I remember the days when my own children were just little tots and I was working a full time job, the only concern on my mind was finding the right baby sitter to leave my kids with, and the most important quality that I was looking for was someone who was trustworthy. I wanted a person who would care for my children with the same love and attention that I give to them. Therefore, I know how important it is for any parent to find not just a qualified babysitter on paper, but a person who has a compassionate and patient heart for children. Since I came to this country from Haiti, I've been working at various hotels as a housekeeper. However, Read more I decided to leave the housekeeping industry 4 years ago when my daughter became ill. Thankfully, she's now back on her feet. During the 4 years I have worked privately assisting elderly patients at their home and I have also done part-time babysitting jobs for friends and family whenever they needed my help. On February 22, 2002 I was awarded by the Florida Department of Children & Families with a certificate for my completion of Behavioral Observation and Screening in Child Care training, which I completed at Miami Dade Community College.
