I am a student who recently graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelors in Exercise Physiology, Psychology, and a minor degree in fine art photography. I will be continuing to attend the university in August as a graduate student in process of completing a Masters degree in Nutrition. Some of my recent course work included child and adolescent development as well as a class focused on children with developmental disabilities. I volunteered with the Miami Dade Parks & Recreation team to run the annual surf camp for children with Autism. I recently worked as a soccer coach with Super Soccer Stars Miami, coaching children from 1 yr. to 9 years old. I have babysat my cousins from when they were toddlers up until their pre teen years. I have interned along side a kindergarten teacher learning how to handle children in the classroom setting as well as interacting Read more with them in a way that is conducive to their educational improvement. I am CPR and AED certified as well as a certified yoga instructor. I absolutely love the outdoors and believe its very important for kids to get some sort of physical activity out in nature everyday. I am a huge animal lover and had actually rescued my own dog 4 years ago when I started school at UM. Some of my hobbies include swimming, surfing, running, cooking, and photography.
