I have a lot of experience babysitting kids, I even have nieces and nephews of my own that include three toddlers and one middle schooler. I babysit them very often so I have a wide range of experience with age (and siblings!). I also tutored in college for a foster child, so I have experience with coordinating schoolwork into childcare. In college and graduate school I had a primary focus on childhood development - so I have had a lot of experiences working with kids (elementary schools, tutoring, volunteer work, etc.). I also have experience nannying children with disabilities. I am an extremely outgoing and outdoorsy person: I love to swim, hike, fish, go on walks, anything really! I just finished graduate school in school counseling at the University of Virginia. I have worked as a school counselor in the Pensacola, FL area, but now will be re-located to Camp Read more Pendleton. I am newly married to a USMC pilot. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Alison has been babysitting my two girls (8 and 11 years old) on a full-time basis all summer (May - August 2014). She has been punctual, reliable and flexible. We appreciate the fact that she takes the initiative to take the girls to the playground, swimming or to other fun activities to keep them engaged and away from the t.v. And most importantly, our girls love Alison and have had a great summer because of her.
