As the oldest of 5 children I was trained at a young age to help and watch out for my younger siblings so my mom could work outside of the home. My husband and I have 2 grown daughters and we also have 5 grandchildren that we love and adore. My husband Rod and I have been happily married for 43 years. When the children and grandchildren didn't need us as much we became respite care foster parents for a few years. We loved all the children that were put into our home, whether it was for a night or for several weeks. We still pray for these children and consider it an honor to have been trusted with them.
