My name is Audrey Diers, I am 62 years young with 2 children and I just had my first grand-child who is now 6 months old and I took care of him with my daughter for 3 months and it was fabulous . I did have a career as an Office Manager for a Physician up North. When I was a young girl I learned to babysit from taking care of my two baby brothers. By the time I was 12 I was out in the world babysitting, Mothers Helper. Camp Counselor, I also cared for children in an after school program. When I left my Career working for the doctor we moved down to Florida in 2000 and i restarted my Babysitting/Nanny career working for a well known family on Marco Island full time where they were about to have their first child. Before I started the job I Read more went to the Marco Island Fire Department for my CPR Certificate which was a month of training every Saturday for 5 hours . When she gave birth she stayed home for about 3 weeks and I stayed with her and then I was on my own full time and 2 years later number two came along and I was in my glory. We did everything that the area had to offer such as the library singing at the start and then reading and arts & crafts. We went to Mommy and Me, the park, zoo and sometimes just for a nice walk. As they got older we read, played games, and did age appropriate experiences and as they got older they had swim lessons, etc. I of course prepared their meals, did the laundry and made sure the house was in perfect condition for Mommy and Daddy when they got home. I also sat in the evenings for some of their little friends and then when they started school I left and the rest was word of mouth. I do not smoke or drink and I have my own transportation. I am not afraid of pets and now I usually sit Part Time unless it's the weekends and I would sit any night during the week with no time limits.
