Hello! My name is Chelsea Baugh and I am 24 years old. I have been teaching preschool, ages 3 months to 5 years, for the past 6 years. I am both CPR and First aid trained. While I have only been teaching for 6 years, I have been babysitting for children of various ages since I was 12. I am comfortable changing diapers, administering medication, accommodating travel needs, etc. I have also spent a great deal of time working with children with both disabilities and special needs. Specifically, I have spent the most time working with children with high functioning autism, adhd, down's syndrome, and vision impairments. Currently, I am teaching a two year old class but I am looking to make a permanent switch to full time at home child care. It is important to me that I am able to devote my time, affection, and energy to a Read more smaller group of children so that both the children and I are getting the most out of our experiences together. I love spending time outside and getting messy! However, as much fun as playing outside is, art projects are my speciality. My history as a preschool teacher has armed me with a plethora of arts and crafts activites that are fun but also geared towards teaching a lesson or honing fine motor skills.
