I am a sophomore at UCF living on campus. I have taught 6 classes of swim lessons per summer for 4 straight summers for ages (2 year olds, 3/4, 5/6 and older kids 8/9). I LOVE teaching swim lessons as well as babysitting. I really like to connect to the parents that I babysit with. I feel it is very important to have a good relationship with the parents as well as the kids, so that a babysitter can realistically match up with the dynamic that the parents set in the household. A lot of kids respond negatively to change and I feel its important to try and keep the rules very close to the ones when the parents are around. I am not strict but I am by no means a push over. I have been working with kids for almost 5 years now and have loved every minute of it. I am an arts and crafts lover and a barbie/ videogame and race car enthusiast. I am available every Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for and Sunday. I am always willing to pick up kids from soccer practice/school/tutoring/ballet or anywhere they are after school. I simply ask for the gas money it takes to pick them up :) I have done this for 4 families in the past where I would pick up kids from school, take them to various practices and then pick them up after.
