Hi, my name is Paige Gardner and I am 25 years old. I am extremely experienced and comfortable with children of all ages and would describe myself as honest, reliable, punctual, passionate, friendly, creative and patient. I have all of the energy and skills required to care for your child in as close to the same manner as their primary caretaker as possible. I strive to make sure that the children and parents both feel comfortable with their kids in my care, and I always aim to interact with each child in as many ways as possible to teach them about all of the wonderful things this world has to offer. I am not the babysitter that literally just "watches" the kids." I do extensive research on each individual child's age, brain and body development and prepare lots of different fun/age-appropriate activities that are geared specifically to their unique needs. Read more I believe that there is no cookie-cutter approach to child care and I mold myself and my approach however neccessary to be a perfect fit for that specific child- and it has proven to be effective for me and every kid I've worked with. I have a squeaky clean background check and am CPR/First Aid certified, so I am prepared for the unlikely event of an emergency, which hasn't ever happened in my 8 years of working with children. I have a two-year-old little boy myself, so I know first hand how important it is for a parent to have a reliable, responsible caretaker for their child who genuinely has their best interest in mind at all times and I am able to provide that to you, with pleasure. This isn't just a hobby for me, it is my passion! I am a licensed massage therapist and although I still do that on the side in my spare time, I choose to nanny because it is such a rewarding job! Nothing in this world makes me feel more honored or more grateful than to be able to be a part of a child's growth, education and overall development. Although it is not a requirement for me, I would really LOVE to find a job where I can bring my son with me, and I'd certainly be willing to work for a rate that reflects that. I think it's totally beneficial for both kids to be able to play and learn from/with each other and it has been proven that interaction with other children significantly boosts vocabulary and social skills!
