Hello & Thank you for considering me to care for one of your most important treasures..... Your Child(ren). My name is Christy. I was Born & Raised in "Minne-snowta" and relocated to the FL Panhandle 9 years ago. I have been married to the man of my dreams & best friend for 6+ years. We are blessed with an amazing 7 year old son & I really "won the lotto" when I gained 2 more kiddos; a son (now age 15) & a daughter (now age 13) when I said "I do"! Growing up in a family of three girls (Sorry Dad!), I was the oldest (Lets just say I am "10 years wiser" than the next oldest 😉) which gave me an immense opportunity to begin my babysitting experience early on. By the time I was 12 years old, I had several neighborhood families that I provided care for. Read more Looking back now I am so proud of myself for the care that I provided & the knowledge I gained! To this day I still have contact with many of these families & have watched their children blossom into incredible adults. These families very much became part of my family & they too have watched me become the woman I am today. They have watched me push & challege myself. Never in a million years did I imagine they would follow me as I: Graduated HS with honors, Attended College, Got Married and Had children of my own... I am truly blessed!! The day of my 13th Birthday, I received a phone call from a family friend & local business owner. She called to offer me a position at her 120+ Pet Boarding & Supply Co... I eagerly accepted & started the following day! Less then one year later I had my own key to the business & continued 2 push forward & excel in both work & school. I continued to work & babysit throughout my HS & College years. A good bit of the time working 2 jobs. To this day I am So Thankful for the opportunities I had. As my college years ended, I was given my 1st opportunity in the Healthcare Field. It was both exciting & sad as I knew I would no longer be able to continue working at the business where I first started out. I continued my career in the Healthcare Field for over 16 years & Just recently decided to take some time to spend with my family both as a teacher & SAHM to our 7 year old. I still can't believe my "Baby" started 1st Grade in August 2018! I would be honored to become part of your family & provide your children with care as well.
