I'm a homeschooling mom of 8 children, all nearly adults now. I have had a lifetime of firsthand experience with children of all ages. My parents were directors of a children's home and I've had countless jobs babysitting since I was 14. I love children ~ babies in particular. I've been the childcare giver for my 4 yr old granddaughter that I have been with since she was born, then for my 18 mth old grandson, 5 mth old and 4 month old granddaughters. I'm known as the 'baby whisperer' to any baby I've met. :) I can cook, clean, do laundry, iron, you pretty much name it. I'm probably considered as gentle and more soft spoken, but I can hold my own. I have my own car but now that I’m recently living in Leesburg, FL, I can take care of your child/children in my home, part time, full Read more time, date nights and short notice. We have always had dogs, cats, fish, birds ~ even chickens, so pets are not an issue! I've been the caregiver for my husband and now that I'm recently widowed, I have the freedom and ability to go into this area of work that I Love.
