Hello! My name is Rae, short for Rachel. I am a bubbly and energetic 35-year-old woman who has a deep love and adoration for children. As a mother of five, ranging in ages from 19 to 8 (including a disabled child), I understand the challenges and joys that come with raising a diverse group of children. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Construction Management at college. Life has presented me with unexpected challenges. After the passing of my ex-husband, I found myself alone, responsible for my five children. I had to put a hold on my career aspirations to prioritize their well-being. Unfortunately, I also experienced a domestic violence relationship, resulting from a poor decision made while grieving. This experience led to the loss of the career I had worked hard to achieve. Although I enjoyed the corporate life, I have come to realize that my true calling lies Read more in helping others, especially those who have experienced trauma. While my Healthcare Professional Certification, including BLS (Adult CPR, Child CPR, and Infant CPR), Emergency Basic First Aid, Blood-borne Pathogens, and Cognitive A.E.D. Skills, has expired, I am committed to renewing them in the near future. Reliability is one of my core strengths, and I am always available, even on short notice. Punctuality is important to me, and I strive to be on time, if not earlier, when you need last-minute assistance. I conduct myself in a professional manner and have the ability to maintain authority and discipline, according to your preferences. Kindness, respect, and politeness are values that I hold dear. I approach every situation with a positive attitude and am known for being trustworthy and well-mannered. I understand the importance of privacy and always respect boundaries. I am fully devoted to helping those in need and making a positive impact in their lives. With extensive experience working with children of all ages, particularly infants, toddlers, and those with autism or severe mental health challenges, I find joy in playing and teaching children something new every day. I believe in teaching healthy coping mechanisms to manage overwhelming emotions. I am excited to meet new smiling little faces and contribute to their growth and well-being.

Rachel was wonderful with my 16 month old son. She arrived on time and was calm, kind, & followed his schedule. She is knowledgeable and it is clear to see that she is experienced in caring for children. I am so thankful to have found her. We will definitely call Rae again!!!

She was wonderful with my 4 month old son! He wasn't the least bit shy with her, and she stuck to the schedule I had laid out for him. Plus, she showed up early which was wonderful! Definitely using her again.

Rachel babysat our 2 and 3 year olds and did a wonderful job! We felt very comfortable with her as soon as we met her. The next morning my three year old daughter told me that she had lots of fun with Rachel. I will definitely call Rachel again and would recommend her.
