I helped my mother out at her certified home childcare at the age of 14, where I would assist and supervise children from birth to the age of 10 with indoor and outdoor activities. I created group activities for children such as arts and crafts. I helped prepared daily meals and snacks. I would read and play educational games with the children. I supervised children on field trips. I would tutor and assist children on their homework when needed. I also did daily maintenance routines every day after closing. After my mother closed her certified home childcare, I begin working at a Child Development Center, where I supervised and assisted children from 6 weeks to 3 years of age inside and outside classroom. I help create lesson plan according to children strengths and weaknesses. I would communicate with parents daily about their children day. And did daily maintenance routines after Read more closing. After a year of working at the Corry Station Child Development Center, I left to continue my education and get a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of West Florida. I recently graduated from UWF on May 5, 2017 with a degree in Teaching and Learning. I also graduated with a minor in Exceptional Student Education, as well as a minor in Child Welfare. While I attended college, I occasionally babysat children in my neighborhood. My special skills are being punctual, organized, neat, goal-oriented, and energetic.
