With 10+ years in the Hillsborough County School District, I have experienced various student exceptionalities. I've worked with students that is developmentally disabled, need extra help with reading with understanding, students whose brain process in opposite directions than the norm, students who needed extra help transitioning from a controlled environment to living and making their own decisions. I've even taught music to elementary students. I find teaching 2, 3 and 4 year olds are most critical to a child's development and growth. When children are allowed to explore their creative minds, a whole new world is opened. They feel they are playing, when in actuality they are learning.
