My name is Jalisa, I am a college student at Miami dade college currently residing broward county. I received a certificate from DCF for completing 40 hours to be a childcare provider . I have almost 5 years of paid experience working with children. I worked about three and a half years at a kids club at a hotel in Sunny Isles, Miami, watching kids ages 4-12 and I also worked at a day care in lighthouse point, FL for about a year working with 1-3 year olds. While I worked at daycare I helped with potty training two year olds before the moved on the the next stage of being a three a year old. I did daily positive affirmations before we began our day and taught sign language and basic Spanish/creole words as I did have a diverse classroom. I have helped take care 5 of my nieces Read more and nephews since birth, they are now a few months old-6 years old. I do have experience with newborns. Making a bottle, transitioning from bottles to baby/solid food and changing diapers. I am big on interacting with children I love being outdoors and staying busy with activities. If needed, I am able to meal prep, do laundry and other errands you may need help with. I can also help with homework. I am CPR and First aid certified. I hope you see me fit to watch you child(ren).
