I am qualified to be a caregiver due to many years of caring for my husband who had a muscle disease and severe rheumatoid arthritis and is now deceased. I have also cared for several other ladies in their home over the past four years. I have experience with bed baths, transferring from a wheelchair to the bed and from a wheelchair to a car. I have experience with breathing machines, as well as all other daily tasks. I became a caregiver because of my husband's need for care. It's rewarding helping others. I feel as though I am making a difference in peoples lives as a caregiver. That is why I love my job. I'm good at caregiving because I have compassion for others and I get along well with people.
