Hi! On my 18th birthday one perk of adulthood that I was most looking forward to was being able to sign up for Sittercity! I love children and have had the opportunity to work with many internationally as an Ambassador for the Art Miles Mural Project, an organization that promotes peace and global acceptance through art. This includes working on art therapy and leading intercultural art projects with diverse kids of various ages. In the sixth grade I began working with Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, MX and the children have grown to be my family. I frequently visit the orphanage to help take care of the children and deliver supplies. In order to raise funds for the orphanage I recently wrote and published a children's book in English and Spanish about the founding of the orphanage. These experiences along with previous babysitting provides great experience in childcare. Read more I will be an honors graduate and am a National Advanced Placement Scholar, so I am more than happy to also help with homework or read with children! I love animals and can look after them as well. Additionally, I compete in triathlons (swim, bike, run), run cross country and track and am up for any safe outdoor activities.
