**UPDATE** In addition to loving children all around and pursuing a career in the education field, I now have my own little one. My son, Gabriel is 3 years old as of June 2018. I'm sure all parents can relate when I say there is such a difference when you have your own children. The bond is truly unique and as much as Gabe learns from me, I am learning more every day. I have such a better understanding now of some of the real developmental milestones and physical changes that little ones go through. That being said, I would love to be able to find a family that wouldn't mind or even see a benefit in tagging my son along. If not, however, I can definitely make arrangements to be solo. I have worked the last 2 years (2017 and 2018) as a high school education assistant at South Read more High School in Sheboygan. I have worked one year as a day care teacher and elementary tutor. I am currently certified in CPR for adults, children, and infants. I have previous medical experience from the military and pursuing a degree in Behavioral Science so I have a broad knowledge of child development and keen sense of personalities and adapting to the needs of others. I have always been drawn to the wonderment and imagination of children and had a natural knack for nurturing others' growth and development as well as fostering an environment of fun, learning, and stability. I am in the process of a personal study of Conscious Discipline, a program for parenting that "integrates social-emotional learning and discipline, empowering adults and children to transform conflicts into opportunities to learn critical life skills".
