About Me: I am a 31 year old professional who bring a unique and entertaining twist on childcare. Since moving to Florida in 2013, I have been sitting for both vacationing families and locals. As a former gymnastics instructor for children age 18 months to 7 years, I am accustomed to entertaining and caring for up to 12 children at once. I love to keep things active and new! I have DHR childcare clearance and have CPR, Red Cross First Aid and USA Gymnastics certifications. I am also trained through the Stewards of Children program. As a former Special Olympics coach/coordinator and have extensive experience working with children and adults with special needs. I thoroughly enjoy having fun, working on projects, creating works of art and going on adventures. I think that you will find that I am outgoing, fun and most importantly, responsible and reliable. I am happy to work with you to develop a plan that helps put you and your guests at ease. Please note that I am a working professional and do not have daytime or full time availability during the work week. However, I am available evenings and weekends. However, I am available for overnight or late night sitting upon request. I require a four hour minimum for each visit. My standard (non-holiday) hourly rate is $18 for the first two children and $2 for each additional child. I am happy to discuss reduced rates for extended and overnight stays. Just ask! Leslie was very accommodating and allowed us to make changes to our schedule and 'party' without any hassle. We had a couple join us at the last minute and she was able to take care of their child in addition to ours. Leslie came well prepared and was even early to our home. My kids were quickly drawn to her and felt quite comfortable by the time we left, about 30 minutes after her arrival. We had a very late night and Leslie was still awake and alert when we returned. The kids were sound asleep and she gave us a full report on their activities. When the kids awoke the next morning they raved about Ms. Leslie and asked if she could come sit for them again. She was very professional, competent and reliable. I would easily hire her again.
