Hi everyone!! I'm Dara. I have been nannying/babysitting/providing care for children with special needs since i was in middle school ( for 10 years).I have recently earned my bachelor's degree with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. I am a Registered Behavior Technician. Post graduation in December of 2014, I have been employed in the behavior analysis field, specializing in early intervention and verbal behavior. My work experience in the field of autism includes working as a behavior therapist at multiple early intervention clinics and working in home/school settings with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.. My obligations include entailing, implementing and assisting in creating behavior intervention plans to reduce problem behaviors and increase socially appropriate behaviors. I enjoy working within the field of autism because it is incredibly rewarding to be able to Read more significantly improve the lives of children, whether the improvement be behaviorally, academically, socially, or mentally. I am fully committed to my priority of being the cause of positive difference made to a child and child’s families’ quality of life through the many techniques of behavior modification.
