Hello, my name is Diamond Hall. I am a sophomore at the University of South Florida majoring in Secondary Education Mathematics. I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Fl. I am the oldest among 7 children, I have a 14 year old autistic brother, a 8 year old sister, a 7 year old sister, 3 year old sister, and two 1 year old brothers. Growing up in a single parent home, I am no stranger to babysitting. I watched my siblings every day after school until my mom came home from work. I also watched all of them when my mother worked over night I made sure they ate dinner, I would help them with their homework, as well as give them bathes every night, and make sure they went to bed at a reasonable time. I think my love for children come from having so many siblings; especially Read more having a sibling with a disability he taught me patience. I also spent a summer working at a recreation center as a junior leader. I basically was basically assigned to a new group of children every week from ages 4-11. I had to play games with them, keep them entertained, but most importantly make their summer camp experience the best. In my free time I coach a little league cheer-leading team of girls ages 11-13.
