Allow me to introduce myself. I am fun-loving, responsible, and health conscious. I have a lot of love, kindness and patience to share. I want to make parents’ lives easier by keeping their children safe, happy, and entertained. I raised two happy, healthy children who are now successful young adults. I also enjoy the experience of being a grandmother of two. Five years ago I became a nanny and found that I absolutely love this opportunity to contribute to the development of young lives. Since that time I have had experience as a nanny with newborns/toddlers and have worked as a babysitter for older children on an “as needed” basis. Most recently I have cared for a little girl as a newborn up until the time when she went to preschool. I especially enjoyed watching and contributing to her emotional and intellectual growth during that time. In the past I Read more have done extensive volunteer activities for various groups. When my children were in school, I was active in the PTA and helped as "classroom mom." I was also a Girl Scout leader for 10 years and still help part-time in the Council office. I have helped at Sweetwater Organic Farm and contributed as a docent at Lowry Park Zoo. I also led educational children's tours at Old McMickey's Farm. I am seeking a part-time nanny or occasional babysitting position in a positive, non-smoking home environment where I can nurture a baby while helping to meet appropriate developmental milestones through songs, books, puppetry, crafts and fun playtime or where I can entertain older children with age-appropriate activities. I become involved in their playtime and their interests. My hours are flexible. I have my own transportation and an excellent driving record. I love pets and am happy to help with them as well. You will find that I am flexible, conscientious and reliable. I enjoy capturing sweet moments with my professional camera. Other hobbies include bicycling, cross stitching, and gardening. I look forward to learning more about your child and how I can help to enhance the life of your little one.
