I have been a mother for 29 years and have 3 adopted children. They are 29, 21 and nearly 16. I come from a large family and have always loved children. I began babysitting at age 11 and always had a very full schedule, even as I went through my college years. I have continued to care for the children of friends, neighbors and even have cared for some of my childrens' classmates overnight and weekends. I understand how difficult it is today to find someone that you trust enough to care for your precious children! I am a licensed and certified K-6 Hillsborough County teacher, and have been fingerprinted and extensively background checked. Providing a safe, loving and fun experience for any child(ren) I care for is a high priority for me. When I care for your child(ren) they become part of my family! We love to cook, do crafts, watch movies, play in the pool or yard, play games and browse the mall, as well as many other things. I have been a Girl Scout leader and have been trained in CPR for all ages. I'm also great at helping kids that need some homework help or assisting with household responsibilities like errands, meal preparation or laundry. If children need to be picked up at school or have after school activities, I am more than willing to drive for those purposes. In summary, your child(ren) will be with their "second Mom" when in my care, allowing you complete peace of mind to go about your activities.
