Hello! My name is Savanna and I love working with kids! I started baby sitting at the age of 13 and onward, I have served multiple families long term and short term over the years, but had to stop due to my college and graduate school, but I did very similar work . I have returned back to the City Beautiful. Below are some relevant information : Camp Counselor at Montverde Academy 2 Summers: • Supervised and ensured the safety of 15+ students ages 5-13 • Planned and led daily activities including nature hikes, arts/crafts, and swimming. Resident Adviser/Assistant at Stetson University for 3 years: • Oversaw 25+ residents each academic year • Ensured a safe and learning environment for students • Planned, coordinated and executed series of community building programs • Communicated with Hall Director/Residential Life Assistant Directors and informed them of current issues • Interacted with parents and Read more students from different grade levels (Freshmen to Upper classmen) • Worked with other Resident Advisors in forming Hall Wide Programs • Participated in interviewing and advising/training process for new RAs • Dealt with mediation needs, peer counseling, emergencies and crisis response • Enforced all university policies and procedures • Received ‘butt-kicker award’ for outstanding RA Academic Tutor for Student Athletic Academic Support Services at Florida State University: • Oversaw several student-athletes and assist with their academic needs that were suited to my major • Aid students with preparing studying guides, outlines for papers, and other assignments • Provide special assistants for students with special needs/learning disabilities I enjoy cooking, baking (there will usually be brownies or cookies left for your family to enjoy ), arts and crafts, fort building, video games and reading. I would be happy to be of service to any family who needs a babysitter. I am planning on getting CPR and First Aid Certified through the Red Cross.
