My name is Erin Nicole Anderson, but I go by my middle name Nikki! I am a student at the University of Pittsburgh, but I'm from Alpharetta, Georgia and will be home for the summer. I'm working on a double major of Administration of Justice with the Police Academy and Legal Studies, as well as certificates in Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security and Communication. I also take courses in the field of Psychology. Since I was fifteen I've been babysitting for parents' date-nights, but my more recent jobs have been in pet-care, working in restaurants, and interning at a veterinary clinic. Currently, I work with Jumpstart where I guide educational activities and prepare children for kindergarten in less-fortunate areas. The classroom has 18 children with the youngest child being three and the oldest being five. I graduated from Alpharetta High School in December of 2018. I've always been a high Read more achieving student, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I also work well in emergencies and high-stress situations. I've always loved taking care of children, which is why I wanted to become a nanny! I believe the training I receive as a police student helps me prepare well for any situation that could happen, and my psychology studies help me to understand what each individual child needs from me to be able to grow into the best versions of themselves. My current work with Jumpstart has given me experience in finding the best ways to integrate education in fun activities for children. I will be available this summer from May 4, 2020 until July 31, 2020.
