I have a 14 year old son that is autistic and who now lives with his father in Charleston, SC due to the numerous resources that are simply not available in rural South Georgia. I ended a 20 year banking career 5 years ago to stay home with my son as he then became too old to attend daycare and a private sitter was not feasible cost wise. Now that he is living with his father, I am very eager to rejoin the workforce and a nanny or babysitting job would be ideal as I am very passionate about children, especially those with special needs. I have lots of experience with both “neurotypical” children and personal experience with special needs children.
