Originally from New England, I moved to Atlanta in 2013 to start a job doing developmental research at an autism center. I work fairly regular hours during the week, so I'm available to babysit on weekends or some weekday evenings. I've been babysitting since high school, caring for kids of a range of ages. I also volunteered at a preschool from March to July of this year. I worked in a classroom with kids who were 2.5 - 3.5yo, some of whom had developmental delays. In addition, I spent a few summers in high school running an informal day camp for around 20 children, aged ~4-13. I have cared for infants, but I'm most comfortable with kids who are 1 or older. I've also done some tutoring, so I'm happy to help out with homework! I'm CPR certified by the American Heart Association (including child and infant certifications). I have Read more also taken first aid classes through the SOLO school (Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder) - the courses were geared for wilderness first aid, but of course the skills transfer.
