Hi my name is Victoria. I am 59 years YOUNG. By the way, don't let the age fool you, just ask my grand babies, anyone who knows me and the families I have worked with. All about adventure, have patience, young at heart, positive, willingness to go the distance, and a great attitude. I have worked children/families and come with 15 years of experience in childcare. I have worked as a preschool teacher/asst. director and starting in infant room and followed them through Pre-K. I was also involved in the after school program. I then was a nanny to a family with their first baby from 6 weeks old until she entered Pre-k and babysat occasionally for therm until they relocated to Florida. Presently, after 6 years, I am seeking to join a family as the family i worked with/for after school carpool for 6 years has opted to do Read more virtual learning as the boys are 13 and 15 and they are highly intelligent and capable to work without much supervision and their mother working remotely from home. I would describe myself as a kind, dependable, creative, nurturing, mature, responsible, fun, thoughtful, patient (I get comments on that attribute often..lol) and loving person. I am also a very involved grandmother of two grandchildren 8 and 10 years of age since birth. I have been summer nanny with them for 3 years as well. I am an excellent cook, positive and fun by nature who believes in preparing healthy meals. I enjoy (so we can too) playing outside, museums, festivals, water park/outdoor activities, movies, swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, nature/discovery walks, playing board games, and reading. I also will help with homework, assist with projects, carpool, help with navigating to/from activities, learning activities/crafts and willing to do light housekeeping among various duties... A mommies helper of sorts, been called a "right arm", "a rock", "baby/child whisperer", "lifesaver" too! I can truly say I love children, people and even animals. In addition I would like to add I dog walk and assist with adults, families or elderly people whom for one reason or another need assistance with errands/appts., organizing projects, decorating, and many other abilities, just ask!!
