I do not have any formal experience with babysitting, but I have looked after my three siblings when my parents left for extended periods of time. I do not have any training or certifications, but I know that I can do better than anyone who has them if I receive them and subsequently am given the chance. Yes, I am a male, which puts me at a disadvantage, but I can take care of children just as well, if not better than, any female babysitter. I can make myself be liked by children because I know how to get to their level and form that connection. Although I am a college student, my full attention will be given to the children entrusted to me, not to schoolwork or other things. I am a quiet and calm person, but I know how to become as loud and boisterous as any child. I absolutely hate raising my voice, and rest assured that it will NEVER happen while I am with your child. I will receive any training that can be done in a timely manner is required of me before starting any job. I am really keen on serving as a mentor as well to children, being someone that they can look up to. Children are our future, and it gives me great pleasure to be a part of their upbringing and contribute to their development in some way.
