My name is Danielle Hunter and no, I'm not a good babysitter. Most babysitters simply do the bare minimum, they make sure that your child is alive and breathing upon your return. Very few are making the conscientious effort to impart wisdom, to share knowledge, or to help to build that child up into an amazing man or woman. That's what I do. I have three little boys, 5, 3, and 2 and our conversations often draw attention because I am very thorough in my explanations and I'm constantly trying to expose them to new words and new concepts. I respect my children and they certainly respect me! Should you choose me as a childcare provider (I'm a lousy babysitter, remember, they do the bare minimum and that's not easy for me), you can rest assured that I will set limits, but they will have fun. I am also committed to guarding their eyes and ears from negative influences as much as possible, but I address those instances in which you may see something inappropriate on a commercial or overhear something salacious in the grocery store checkout.
