I am the older sister of two boys so I grew up helping my parents keep an eye on them. Once I was about 13, I began babysitting for family friends on the weekends and continued doing that all the way through high school. During the summer, I have spent time nannying a few different families and took the kids to Six Flags, White Water, the movies, and out to lunch several times so that they wouldn't be sitting around the house all day! During my junior and senior year of high school, I worked in a childcare center in a local gym and would watch up to twenty children at once. Now, I am employed as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Georgia State University's Recreation Center with very flexible hours. I am CPR (both American Red Cross and American Heart Association), lifeguard, and WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certified.
