Hello Awesome Parents! I am Miss Tammi & I thoroughly enjoy babysitting! Even at the TENDER age of 51, (lol) babysitting is something I love and take VERY seriously. Children are so precious and especially in the eyes of those that parent them. It is crucial that those who care-give, do so with extreme care & love. What an awesome responsibility, taking care of one's most precious gift. I understand and realize the importance of finding the right babysitter for YOUR family. My schoolaged days inspired me to go into education, and once I entered college, that is exactly what I did. I ADORE children, infants to seniors in high school! I have Nannied professionally, I've been a celebrity babysitter, camp counselor, mentor, tutor, Big Sister, babysitter, student teacher, and have substitute taught for over 14 years. I don't care to be disorganized, lazy or allow kids to watch TV all day. I prefer to stimulate their minds with music, songs, colors, reading, and visual recognition, anything that will enhance their learning. All of this, of course before bedtime! :-) I am a strong believer in structure (to an extent), schedules, and the foundations of education. I come from a family FULL of teachers/educators and I watched my parents, aunts, cousins and extended family BE that prototype of the educator I aspire to be. I'm grateful for that inspiration and example. I've taken care of infants, toddlers, and school-aged children and I've even nannied multiples. (HINT: For multiples, invest in the Podee Hands-Free Bottles by at least 4 mos. IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE! :) ) I'm a total blast! I have high energy, I love to talk, play, and read and I am always excited when communicating with children. I'm that someone they run up to hug the moment they see me!
