Lauren has provided scheduled and ad hoc care for us for a few months. She is timely, organized, patient, playful, warm, and in-charge. The children respond well to her leadership in getting themselves dressed, beds made, cleaning up after themselves, and having a great time with make believe and play. I've also entrusted her with my super active and temperamental (and of course wonderful!) 7 month old baby and she has been great with him, providing me with reports of how things went, and always keeping a cool head even when he has gone on food and napping fasts. Also, she always leave a surprise of some kind -- a clean fridge, a folded load, etc. She communicates well, takes direction, offers ideas for how to improve systems around the house/with the kids, and is unfailingly professional. She's the real deal.
