Growing up my mother had a daycare business that I helped her with after school and during the summer. I am also 1 of 6 children and have 10 nieces/nephews. I often tutor my autistic nephew with his school work and babysit for friends/family's children. In high school I was a part of a peer leading program where I took on multiple elementary kids for guidance and support. I feel I naturally sway toward caregiving and understanding children. To this day I have kept friendships with the parents and children whose lives I have been a part of.
