I can provide so much more than simply responsible oversight for your children and/or pets. I love to cook and be active outdoors, and don't mind washing the dishes or folding laundry after your children have gone to sleep. I can run errands you might need before and after their period of care. I love to read, and my professional training as an actor means I can make bed time stories for your children come to life. I have a college degree in Physical and Cellular Biology and excellent written/oral skills that make me a valuable resource when your child(ren) need homework help, whether it's just making sure the assignments are completed or editing papers for older children. I was a lifeguard for over 5 years and oversaw many, many children both in the water and on land (I can help them learn how to swim, too! I received and maintained certification during that time of lifesaving CPR / AED / basic first aid through the Red Cross. I was a pre-med student in college and have a background in medicine, and I currently work part time for the medical division of a security firm that provides training for our US military. I babysat the same single family pretty regularly throughout college, taking care of two children (5 and 12 years old) as well as four cats, and handed their cooking and light house cleaning. Have pets? Not a problem! Whether your cat just needs its water topped off or your horse needs to be turned out, I love animals and would be more than willing to assist in their care.
