I'm not a certified babysitter or a nanny, but I am a full time mother. I know what I do is best for my child, and I enjoy each second being around children. In the past, I have babysat one child and that was my dear friend's son. Since watching him, I knew that I wanted children. I have one son of my own. Now, that child still comes over and we all have a blast. Also, up until I reached middle school, my mom ran a daycare in our home. Daily, I was exposed to little children, taking safety precautions, and helping my mother take care of the kids. Maybe babysitting just runs through our blood, right? Our daily activities include: playing outside (I have a swing set, sand box, and a pool), reading sensor books, gaining and testing the kid's knowledge with flashcards, making crafts and activities, eating Read more healthy nutritious meals, and the favorite part of all: taking long needed naps! I've learned that every child is different in their learning, but you also have to step down to that child's level to see what interests them the most, and how they can benefit from the activities you do with the child. At the end of each and every day, there may be some trials and errors, but I get my satisfaction knowing that I have taken the time and dedication to introduce something new to a child's life and they had fun doing so.
