Hi, I'm Whitney! I am 24 years old and hold a Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University in Child and Family Development. My passion is working with children of all ages and those with life challenges or disabilities. I have worked with toddlers and preschoolers in a Child Development Center in Statesboro, Georgia and worked as a reading tutor for a classroom of kindergarten and 1st grade students for several months. I also worked at a camp for children with illnesses, special needs and life challenges for four years. I have six months of experience with adults who have developmental disabilities through my participation in a horseback riding program and a therapeutic camp. Most recently I acted as a caregiver for a teenager with mild autism for 10 months. I'm currently a graduate student at Auburn University pursuing a Masters in Counseling.
